WHAT IS EMPOWER DADA?

In addition to visiting schools and educating, mentoring and equipping young schoolgirl to manage their periods effectively, PadHer is constantly partnering with local NGOs across Africa to bring PadHer to their community. This program is called “Empower Dada”. Dada means “sister” in swahili.

THE GOAL
Teaching and mentoring young girls from underserved communities about menstruation using comic books and equipping them with free reusable sanitary pads and underwear to help them manage their periods effectively.
